Our loading equipment is TÜV-certified. The transport of cable conductors and contact wires requires special attention. Drums have to be transported in UPRIGHT position. Needless to say, that this applies to the entire journey. Specially trained
nkt cables personnel carry out loading. The cable drums are securely fastened in place in compliance with all VDI requirements. In addition to the clear instructions in the delivery documentation, all cable drums are also marked with Handling Instructions, so that when they are forwarded it can be easily recognised that they have to be delivered in UPRIGHT position. Installation instructions for safe and function -appropriate installation. High-performance equipment and experienced personnel guarantee the professional installation of contact wires. Even unwinding the contact wire requires corresponding arrangements as the contact wires are wound onto the drum with a specific coiling/winding force following production. It is essential that you look at our installation recommendations. They are designed to ensure both the installation quality and safety. The following information must always be observed:
• the wire under the train to stop when you open coil
• avoid uncontrolled and plastic bending
